Make sure your SR-24 is turned off.
Connect the USB cable to the computer and to the under side of the SR-24. You will have to open the rubber cover first.
Open HQ and click “Updates” from the Toolbar on the top left, and then click “Update Software For Your Device”.
Select the SR-24 from the list of devices under “SeekTech Locating Receiver”. Follow the on-screen instructions and click next in HQ to begin updating.
In HQ it will show when the update software is copied to the device, click next in HQ to continue.
Disconnect the USB cable from the SR-24 and computer.
Turn the SR-24 on. The device will now install the update. This can take 5-10 minutes.
Once the update is complete the SR-24 will automatically reboot and power on. If the software included a Bluetooth update, you may see screens as seen below after it powers on.
If you do see the Bluetooth update screen on the SR-24, wait for the update to complete and then you may have to press the select key to get to the main SR-24 home screen. Your update is complete.
To verify the update was successful, you can power off your device again, connect it to the computer, and click next until HQ shows the SR-24 was updated, as shown below. If the update was not successful or you see any errors, please try again.
*Note: Some screens and graphics in HQ and the SR-24 may appear differently than shown in this FAQ.
